You can attach the bowl with suction to most flat surfaces. For good suction, make sure both the suction base and the surface are dry and clean of food or soap film. To attach it, press down in the middle of the bowl with your thumb or spoon to push the air out of the suction base. That's how the bowl sticks to the surface.
